The End of an Era: KenM Quits ENWorld
Well folks, our boy Kenny has taken his proverbial ball and gone home.
After spouting off on the boards about how crappy the mods were for not letting him deride all that is evil and bad about sports, he was confronted about it. E-mails were exchanged and in typical fashion, he had done nothing wrong and felt no need to change. When it was pointed out that he would not be allowed to continue to violate the rules like this, he quit citing the fact that he didn't want to stay around if we we going to repress his (assburger) personality. So he's gone, though I wonder if he'll manage to stay gone.
I feel that I should mention something that was underscored to me during this affair: No matter how much of a complete dipshit you are, the ENWorld Mods will go to a great deal of effort to avoid having to permaban you. I was absent for almost the entire affair since I was up in DC for Thanksgiving but I was amazed at the volume of correspondence sent to Ken in order to try and get him to see the light. It's comforting to know that I work alongside such excellent people. If only I could be like them. 
So anyhow, I thought you guys should know that you'll have to start shopping around for a new whipping boy. Because KenM has left behind the world of pain and unfairness that is ENWorld...
